Blunt import of Western models and standards don’t work in the rural South – besides they create dependence.
This is why the Village University also conducts courses in medical research for partners in the South
– for them to explore and find solutions to problems they are facing.
- The courses are conducted by TMC and research partners, the teachers being academics of high international standing.
- The courses focus on applied methods using participants’ experience and data for case studies.
